I have been praying about what i am suppose to do when i finish university. It has been months and no response from the big man upstairs. They always say that in God's own time... blah blah blah.
A few nights ago i had the most bizarre dream. I was reading the book of Mark that night. I didn't get very far because i fell asleep. So the dream went something like this
I was sitting in church on a Sunday morning and the worship leader or the minister did not show. I stood up and i started reading the bible verses set for that Sunday and I began to give the sermon. I was talking about materialism and making disciples. I started talking about Mark Chapter 1: 1 - 5. This is what it reads. " The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. 2 As it was written in Isaiah the prophet, 'Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare the way; 3 the voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight-' 4 John the baptizer appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sings. 5 And there went out of him all the country of Judea, and all the people of Jerusalem; and they were baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins." At this point i was no longer giving the Sermon, but sitting in the congregation listening.
It is interesting some say God doesn't answer prayer and some say that he does. So the questionthen is was this God or an over active imagination?! I have my own conclusion, you will have to come up with your own.
